LoveHuddle Named Finalist in the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards
LoveHuddle was created to solve a real emotional problem, the burnout people feel from swipe‑based apps.
We’re building calmer, safer, human‑first connection spaces, and that mission is already turning heads.
We’re proud to share that LoveHuddle has been named a Finalist in the 2026 Allica Bank Great British Entrepreneur Awards, one of the most respected entrepreneurship programmes in the UK. Often described as the “Grammys of Entrepreneurship,” the awards celebrate founders who build meaningful, resilient, and innovative businesses that genuinely move the world forward.
This year’s awards saw over 5,000 applications, with just 740 businesses shortlisted across the UK. Finalists collectively represent £3.3bn in turnover and support 17,700+ jobs, showing the scale and impact of the companies recognised.
For LoveHuddle, this milestone is more than an award — it’s early validation of a new direction for digital connection. Swipe‑based apps dominate the industry, but they also create emotional fatigue, burnout, and a sense of disconnection.
LoveHuddle was built to solve that problem through calm design, structured Huddle Rooms, and a safety model that puts people first.
Founder Kevin Peddie said:“LoveHuddle exists because people deserve a calmer way to connect. Being recognised by Allica Bank’s awards programme shows that human-first technology matters. This finalist position is a huge milestone for us as we continue building LoveHuddle Island and preparing for global launch.”And here’s the truth:
Getting recognised this early means we’re already on the right path.
The industry is noticing the direction before the product is even fully out in the world. That’s rare — and it’s the strongest signal that LoveHuddle isn’t following the industry; it’s redefining it.Whether we win or not, the momentum is already here.
And that’s the real win.
